UPDATE #1: They now mention the registration requirement in the “what’s new” release notes, but the reasons they give aren’t great in my opinion.

It gives me hope when companies buck the trend to collect more data (or open the door for this data collection), and I’m more than happy to give the program a five-star rating now that they have removed this requirement. I’m very pleased to say that the developer has listened to the user base and removed the mandatory account creation. If OmmWriter suits you, get the 177.89 MB app for 1.66 on PC. Don’t worry, we won’t bother you too often.
